At this year’s American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Annual Meeting in San Diego, the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Foundation (ASMBS Foundation) hosted the 10th Annual Foundation Event on Wednesday, June 13 during which we honored Walter J. Pories, MD with the Outstanding Achievement Award. In addition we honored the many Walk from Obesity volunteers and corporate sponsors for their support.
This year’s event theme was “Casino Night” and was an evening full of fun, live musical entertainment and much more. Those who attended the event included leaders in the field of bariatric surgery, allied health professionals and corporate supporters. More than 325 attended this year's event
